Degrowth
A social movement and academic process seeking to return Earth's economic process to within the limits of planetary boundaries, moving away from perpetual growth to respond to climate breakdown and global social injustices.

Kuznets_Curve
An inverted U graph of an economic theory that suggested that inequality would be automatically solved by rising affluence. Kuznets suggested that as countries get richer, inequality must rise before it will eventually fall. Although now debunked, its memory lingers on and lends credence to the myth of trickle-down economics.
